HOKK’s Next Chapter

HOKK began less than 3 months ago, reborn from the ashes through community power. Though we started off as a simple meme token, our leadership team has taken the project in a bold new direction, carefully laying the foundations for an ambitious new vision: to make payments and remittance affordable and accessible internationally, especially to developing economies, in order to create an inclusive financial system based on blockchain technology.

We like to call it Meme Utility™.

Since then, our community has grown to over 56,000 holders and we’ve gone on to create our own DEX (hokkfi.com), legally register as the HOKK Finance Foundation, develop a DAO structure and utility/governance token ($HOKKFi), place in the Binance Africa Hackathon HackerLink Quadratic Funding Leaderboard, and much more. And we’re just getting started.

Now, in looking to the future, we realized the next evolution of HOKK Finance with a brand new professional look that conveys our long-term dedication to the project and our future as a decentralised financial powerhouse.

Without further ado, here are our new logomark and mascot redesigns in full!

Expertly crafted by a recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Design award for graphic design, within this new logomark you see our initial, H, the word Fi, and if you look closely, you’ll notice a subtle dog looking back, hidden in the shapes.

Not only did we get a fresh new logomark, but our adorable Hokkaido Inu mascot received a facelift as well!

We’re so thrilled to be entering the next stage of our project’s life and we can’t wait to continue further bringing to life our mission to bring accessible decentralised payments and remittance to all.

We could never have gotten to where we are today without the support from all of our community members, volunteers, moderators, admins, designers, developers, and contributors, and we’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for us.
